(chapter 22) FRENCH PALACE TOUR!!

We could see cars following us from behind but after some turns, we lost them.

"What the hell was that! I have never been more scared in my life before." Crystal said a little shaken up.
Justin smiled, "Well, that´s my life. They always find me."

"How can you live like this? With all the papparazzi chasing you like that everywhere you go? It´s crazy!"

I replied this time, "I thought the same thing too when I was at Angel´s place coming home."

"Well, I´m kinda used to it now. It was really scary in the beggining for me too but my Beliebers like you help me forget about moments like those and put a smile on my face instead."

There was nobody at the place as we approached the entrance but we used the backside anyway in case some papparazzi guys were at the scene first.

"I can´t believe this, you came all the way from wherever you were on holiday for my birthday. That was really sweet of you, I very much appreciate it. You are the best."
"Come here." He hugged me tight. "You are awesome and you don´t have to thank me for anything. You're my friend and Belieber so you´re worth it."
We smiled.

"How many people are going to be attending by the way."
"I don´t know, but mainly people from your school, all I want is for you to have fun on your Sweet 16."
"What if the papparazi people come to the party?"

"Those who are invited are from your school and they are obviously under 18 so it won´t be hard to identify older people. We have the names of the people from your school that the bodyguards and your principal will be cross-checking with."
"That will stop them from bugging people and sending in spies."
"Don´t worry about that, we can go ahead and just have fun. It´s not like we are going to be indulging in illegal activites...plus we´ll be sitting by the V.I.P corner where we could have privacy."

"That´s great. So let´s go party!"

The party wasn´t going to start anytime soon, we had like two more hours or so, so we walked around the Palace Hotel and admired the inside. 

 "This is a huge place!" Crystal looked around dazzled.
"I know right!" I answered back.
We had been living in this community all our lives but we had never been to the Palace Hotel before because only the rich and those who could afford it were allowed in, you couldn´t be caught litering around like a homeless person in the building.

After about a twenty minutes walk around Justin suggested, "Okey, let me show you where you are going to change."
"Going to change?" Crystal and I said simuntaniously.
"Come on,I arranged for everthing when I came over yesterday."
"Say what now! You were here yesterday?"
"Yeah...I
"But I talked to you on the phone and you said you were on vacation with your family." I asked abit confused.
"I wanted to surprise you." He answered jokingly.
"Aaaaw....That was really sweet and kind of you Justin." Crystal added.


We walked up these marvelous stairs and up into this huge room and I think I almost passed out, because I felt like I couldn´t breathe, my cheeks started hurting because my lips won´t stop smiling....It was like I was living in a dream because I couldn´t believe what I was seeing.....I only got to see that kind of thing on tv when models were having a runway show or something like that...I think it was love at first sight......

(chapter 21) HAPPY BIRTHDAY SONG!!

"Rocky sweetie could you please come down."
As I made my way to the stage, I could feel everyone staring at me like I was a creature for another planet, like something was wrong with me . They´re all just in shock, I thought to myself.

"Guys, I would like you to join me in singing happy birthday to Rockline. One, two three.... Happy birthday to you........happy birthday to you......happy birthday dear Rockline..........happy birthday to you............" Everyone stood up and started singing along. Like seriously, how better could this get?! After that, the screaming continued for a while and then it became quieter but there was an occasional scream now and then as he started performing "One Less Lonely Girl" to me. That was official the best time of my life, or so I thought! Then he brought his guitar and played the acoustic version of "baby", people in the crowd were singing along. My cheecks hurt so bad because I couldn´t stop smiling.

"Time to blow out the candles sweetie and make a wish."
I had no idea what I was supposed to wish for, what more could I ask for? My wish was to meet Justin, and I did, and he came for my birthday in my school and surprised me infront of everyone. I took some time to think of something great then with my mind made up, I closed my eyes and blew out he candles as I made my birthday wish.

"Happy birthday, Rocky!" Justin kissed me on the cheeck and hugged me. Trust me, I could feel jelousy in the air. There were more screams and shouts. I bet most girls wished they were in my shoes.

"Before I forget, there´s one more last thing I have to do. Well, I´ve heard of a wonderful person who is in the audience today. Someone I feel like I know already even though we haven´t met before." He said after the performance and flashed a smile at the audience.
Even more screams.

"Uh..." He started looking around in the audience. I could see people waving their hands while some jumping so Justin would recognise them. "I´m looking for Crystal.....Crystal, could you also come over please."
There was more silence with a couple of cheers as she nervously walked down to the stage. I could see the look of disbelief on her face.
He went over to her and gave her a long hug. All I could only hear cheers in the hall. I looked at Crystal, it was as if she was mummified. He held her hand.

"I think you have heard about the Believe Acoustic album that is coming out soon and this right here is the guitar I used for the recording." He had the guitar in his hands.
"I was told by a secret birdie (Justin looked at me), that you are learning how to play the guitar and for good luck, I would like you to have it as a present for being a true and trustworthy friend to Rockline. She has told me alot about you and I feel like I know you too."

She just stood there like a statue and I had to shake her abit to get her back to the "real world". Justin held out his guitar which was already in its case and handed it to her.
"Here you go and good luck." Justin said as he handed the guitar to her. She immediately started crying. He went over to her.
"You don´t have to cry my angel. I am here!"
"Aaaaaw!" was the reaction the audience gave.
"Rocky, I have your birthday present somewhere else. As you all know by now, It´s Rocky´s birthday and all of you are invited to the French Palace for her Sweet 16 party tonight that starts around nine until whenever you feel like going home, I mean, tomorrow´s a weekend so you can sleep till whenever you want. The party is going to be amazing with DjTay James so see you guys there."

"French Palace!"
There were screams from the crowd. French Palace was a huge place and only the rich went there. I could feel the excitement in the air.
We all went backstage, we were talking, ofcourse Crystal was still in shock, I could tell and from nowhere, Dina appeared.
"OMB! its really you Justin! I thought I saw a ghost or something." she ran and hugged him tight.
"You are not supposed to be here. Please go back!" one of the security guy ordered her.
"I know I know but I love you so much Justin. You are still coming to my birthday right! I can´t wait. I love you...." she was blowing kisses to him and before she left, she gave me the "I hate you more now than ever" look and then vanished out of sight.

dring dring dring dring.....the school bell rang.
"okey guys, it´s time to go home. The winners will be announced on Monday as you all know." We heard the Principal say, dismissing everyone. There was commotion. "Justin! Justin! Justin! Justin!"

"Guys, we have to go before we get stuck here."
"Okey, Rocky and Crytsal, let´s go. Everything has already been arranged at the French Palace so could we go there directly to avoid traffik later on. Rocky, I talked to your parents and they are cool with it, they´ll meet us there. Is that okey for you too Crystal or do you need to call your parents?"
"Are you kidding me! I can call them in the car."
"Okey, cool. I guess we have to hurry a bit."

"How the hell did they get here so fast?"
"You do realise we have smartphones and some people have connections right!"
"OMB! What do they want?" Crystal sounded alittle scared as she asked.
I didn´t want to deal with this again, it was the worst thing I had ever encountered. More than anything, I was more concerned about Crystal because this was going to be her first time......

(chapter 20) HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

It had the words "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BESTIE" written on it.
"Are you kidding me." I had totally forgotten." How?
"Happy birthday and remember am here for you. Forever."
I felt something heavier in the envelope. "What is this?" I took it out.
It was half of a BFF heart chain and it only had  Crystal´s name on it.
"I have the other half with your name on it." she said.
She showed it to me. "You can help me with mine and I´ll help you put on yours."
"Okey." And in a matter of seconds, we were both wearing the necklaces."thank you Crystal. I love you very much. Nobody beats your awsomeness!"
"I know am the best but you are the bestest!"
"Is that even a word?" I said jokingly
"I don´t know. It just sounded smart."
"I love it!"

We both giggled silently, trying not to laugh loud incase we distract the others sitting around us. The show was amazing. I didn´t know some people in my class even had talent.
"There is one last performance by someone really special. You are not going to believe this but I would like you to remain in your seats!"
All we could see were hugely muscled men forming a wall between the first row and the stage.
"What are they doing? Why are they here?"
"Why don´t you go ask them yourself Crystal, becuase you are asking the wrong person."
The lights went off and someone started to speak.

"Wait a minute! Am I dreaming? Is that.....?! Crystal asked.
Then the lights came back and there, infront of everyone, he was sitting singing As Long As You Love Me the Acoustic version from his Believe Acoustic Album.
one..two..three and screems exploded in the auditarium I thought my ears were going to burst, Justin stopped singing because almost all the girls were now screaming on top of their voices, I bet he wouldn´t hear himself if he didn´t have the microphone in his hands. But I couldn´t hold the excitement of seeing him again and so Crystal and I jumped up to and joined in the screaming. People were excited about the fact that he was standing on our school stage.

"OMB, What is he doing here?" I thought to myself. The cheers went on for about a minute and you could even see the boys in my school, who called Justin gay and all the mean stuff all the time cheering and clapping too. I just looked at them, surprised by the sudden change. I didn´t really expect them to care or even stand up and clap. It was not like it was mandatory or anything of the sort, they just did it willingly. When people calmed down and the noise minimized, Justin continued.

"Hey guys. I´m Justin Bieber."
More cheers and whistles.
"You don´t say!! Why is he stating the obvious? Who doesn´t know he is the One and Only Justin Bieber?" Crystal whispered in my ear.
We giggled.
"I was talking to a friend of mine, she goes to this school by the way."
There was another minute of screaming when he said that, but let the screaming go down before he continued. I knew then that he was talking about me and my heart was beating so hard I thought it was a bomb waiting to explode at any minute.

"So the other day, I told her I was on vacation but when I looked at my calender, I saw that it was her birthday and I decided to fly over here to celebrate with her."
"He came early for my birthday! I guess he got the dates mixed up. He loves me that much!" We heard Dina, who was sitting right infront of us say.
Crytsal and I gave each other the "Yeah right" look. "Rocky! What a coincidence that he came here on the same day as your Birthday. Tell me he isn´t talking about you because I would die of surprise and over-joy!" She whispered in my ear.

"I don´t think so, he is probably talking about Dina."
"She has never talked to Justin because if she did, she would have never shut up about it. She would have been bragging about it like forever if she got a hold of his number. She has only been to his concerts and the meet and greets, nothing more."
"Then I don´t know who he´s talking about."
But in my heart, I could definetly guess.

Justin was performing "I Would", another song from Acoustic version from the Believe Acoustic Album and the audience, especially the hard core beliebers like Crystal and I were singing along, abit louder than all the other people but I don´t think anyone minded. All I could think about was that Justin was in my school.

"Guys, now for the main reason as to why I´m here. I came over here to wish her a happy birthday so I would like you guys to help me sing "Happy Birthday" to her. Okey, let´s go."

Most people were sitting properly to start singing. Kenny came from behing the curtains holding a cake and the next thing he said shocked everyone I guess because there was that awkward moment of silence..........

(chapter 19) KENNY VISITS!!

I tried to look up but my stomach hurt so bad I felt like I couldn´t breath. The only person I could see was Crystal, who was sitting next to me. But I heard Dina say something.
"OMB! Kenny..I....so...am..so" Dina started to stummer.
"Kenny?" I heard Chris say, "Isn´t that Justin Bieber´s bodyguard?"
The Voice spoke this time, "How could you say that! Do you think you are more special than everyone else because you are richer? That was mean and selfish."
"OMB! You are here, I don´t know what to say." DIna couldn´t stop mumbling.
"Well you can figure out the words on your way to the principal´s office. Let´s go!" I heard our English teacher say.

I could hear someone move towards the door but then stopped. I couldn´t hear anymore movement.
"Star, let´s get you to the nurse sweetie."
"Wait...how do you know her! And why are you here anyway?" Dina was asked suspiciously. "Wait, is Justin here?!"
"No. He´s on vacation!" Kenny shouted back.
I could feel the tension as I tried to walk to the door with his help. I could feel that eyes were glued to me. It was pretty nerv recking. Nobody even flinched. There was no movement.

"You look okey, no damages caused. I´ll just give you some painkillers and you´ll be okey." The nurse said as she went to fetch the medicine.
"Thanks." I said gratefully.
"I hope you feel better." She said as she handed me the painkillers.

"You can go to the auditarium if you wish or maybe I could call your dad to pick you up." the Nurse offered.
"No. Don´t call my parents. Am fine, feeling much better." I hurriedly denied the offer.


"It was long since I saw you Kenny, what are you doing here?"
"I was passing by to go visit my family so I decided to come visit you in your school."
"That was thoughtful of you. Thanks."
"Are people in your class like that? Bullying others?"
"Most of them don´t dare say anything even if they know it´s wrong. They just laugh along coz they don´t want to get bullied too."
"I should try to do something about that."
"Yeah...." I answered sacastically.

I heard people shuffling outside the nurse´s office heading towards the auditarium. Confused by the commotion, I asked, "What´s going on?"
"I was told you guys have the talent show today."
"I didn´t know that!"
"You didn´t know?"
"Oh, yeah. I was home the whole week and just came back."
"Aha....okey."

We talked for sometime and then he said he had to leave. Crystal was waiting outside and through the glass window, I could see how excited she was. I gestured for her to come in.
"Kenny, this is Crystal."
"Very nice to meet you Crystal."
"The pleasure is all mine."
"Well I gotta go."
"Bye."
"Bye." Crystal and I said simunteniously.
And with that, he was gone.

"Thanks for backing me up, you are the best friend in the whole world."
"I got your back girl. Now let´s get out of this place before we are late and find no seats."
"I hate Dina and her stupid group. Gosh! I can´t believe I thought Chris was cool, he is just like the others!"
"Don´t think about them, they are not worth it." We hurriedly walked to the auditarium where after sitting, she handed me an envelope with candles on it. Wait what! You must be kidding me. Today can´t be my......

(chapter 18) MORE BULLYING!!

"Booo!"
"Aaaaaaaaaah........Crystal. You.......How did you get in here? You almost gave me a heart attack!"
"I saw your window open so I decided to come scare you. I used the ladder outside your window."

"Thank God today is my last day here. I´ll be coming back to school tomorrow. I´m so scared. Remember the last time I was there!"
"Star, I got your back. You are going to be fine. I missed you the whole week."
"I missed you too."

"Speaking of missed. You were supposed to give me something last week. What was it?"
"Oh...that...you can come get it tomorrow in school."
"In that case, you were not going to give me something......right.
"Yes I was....but you have to come to school to get it."
"What if I decide not to come to school."
"Then I guess you´ll never get to know what it is huh!"
"Fine you win."

I thought I was going to die when I got inside those school door the next day. My heart was racing so fast I couldn´t breath and my legs were shaking so bad I just wanted to go back home and lock myself in my room, but that was too boring. Crystal by my side made everthing better. I had to stay strong, just like Justin said.

"I see you had the courage to come back. You can see that you didn´t get enough last week. I´m going to make your life a living hell!"
"What did I do to you to make you hate me huh!"
"I´m a bully. You don´t have to do anything to make me hate you. I guess I picked you because you are more vulnerable. I could break you whenever I want."
"Just leave me alone."
"What if I don´t."
I didn´t have anything more to say.
"Thought so too." Dina barked.

"Dina, you don´t have to bully others because you hate yourself."
"Excuse me! What did you say!"
"I said, you don´t have to....."
Smack.... She slapped Crystal across the face!
I don´t remember where I got all that energy from but I got up and pushed Dina so hard she almost knocked herself on the desks.

I reached out to Crystal who was red on her left cheeck.
"Are you o....."
Someone grabbed me by my hair and was pulling so hard I wanted to scream.
"Let me go."
"You are nothing!" Dina was breathing heavily on my neck as she continued to pull my hair.
"I am the richest kid in this school and you dare push me! How dare you even touch me! I can have your damn ass sued in court for even coming close me. My dad is a powerful man and he won´t hesitate to draw money from your poor family. Your parents made a mistake to bring you to this world. Your father is a damn clark, your mom a kitchen lady and your sister is stupid. Your whole family is full of useless people. And that includes you! And you know what, Justin is coming to my birthday party tomorrow to perform. Everyone else is invited except you." She shouted in my ear.

Tears started clouding my eyes and began running down my cheecks. She kicked me in the stomach with her leg before I fell to the floor in pain.

"What is going on in here?" Our English teacher asked. Then behind her, we heard another voice....
"What the hell did I just see!"
